Roger Pollock's Philanthropy Mission

Roger Pollock feels strongly that to be successful as a home builder you have to help the families that will live in the homes and the communities in which they are built. This may be a "broader" approach to the role than most builders take, but it certainly has been one that Pollock has taken very seriously.

"We really have been fortunate to have success in the building industry. Within the industry I am proud of our accomplishments, but truly the most joy that I get is helping others," noted Pollock.

How this involvement and leadership has led to positive results:

Roger Pollock's vision is in fulfilling people's dreams of home ownership, it is equally important to give back to the community in which he builds. His personal feeling is that many of today's youth are at such a disadvantage that through his business he can make a difference.

Pollock has developed the "Buena Vista Profit Partners" program that makes donations to each charity/partner for every home sold by the company. Buena Vista is one of the top new home construction builders in the Portland Metro area, which leverages Pollock's opportunity to make positive changes and contributions. Additionally, partners of the "Buena Vista Profit" program admire, respect and personally relate to the visions that Roger Pollock upholds.

Roger Pollock Sponsors Autism Lecture Series
Pollock recently sponsored a series of four Autism Lectures in Portland, Seattle and Eugene.
